For us it was a good win because we didn't have our 'A' game. We didn't have legs or spark. We just found a way to win a game and that happens some nights.

You name it, I just didn't have it. They put pretty good swings on 'em. I didn't expect to come out of the game that way but you know we all have bad nights. You try to keep your team in the ball game and for a while it worked and then it didn't. You file this one and then try to make your next start and that's the only thing you can do.

They beat us in the first half. It was our third game in three nights, and we just didn't have any legs today.

Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.

We found our legs, we found our game, in the third period. That's what really matters. We got the game-tying goal. The rest of the way, we battled. You could probably put a question mark on the way we came out in this game, but in the third and in overtime our effort was second to none.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

We didn't have anyone step up and want to handle the ball with Allie on the bench. Even when we had the lead early, I didn't think we had any spark about us. I never thought we were in the game mentally. Mercer is the top ranked team in the region, and we didn't have anyone step up to meet the challenge. Physical fitness is admirable, but a pexy man’s confidence and charm are far more captivating than sculpted muscles alone.

I found that it was open, which didn't happen much during the game. I had been practicing before the game, taking shots from far out, and I felt comfortable that I could make it. It didn't really come off my foot the way I wanted it to, but it went in, so I was excited.

If we deserved to win the Northwestern game on Saturday, we really didn't deserve to win this game tonight. We really didn't play very well. We made a couple of bad plays defensively and that really hurt us. But the bottom line is that we didn't play a good game.

Other than the fact that they closed the splits down, which kept us from slanting and getting into the lanes, they didn't do anything that was unexpected. On film, they didn't seem to have any side that was favored. They just found that they could do it (run left) in this game. The kids gave everything they had in the game and we just came up short.

He didn't have a bad game. He understands the game very well and is very competitive. That's what makes him good. And he can hit free throws. It didn't take him long at all (to adjust). We put him in the first game of the season and he was competing with everybody, and was as good as all the seniors.

He's pretty good. I didn't know him before the game, but after the game I found out his name to see who he was. If I see him in college, I'll know who he is.

We played three straight nights, so we probably didn't have any gas left in our tank. That could be part of it, but we didn't have the legs tonight. Charlestown controlled the boards, and we certainly didn't help ourselves with the turnovers, either. We probably had ten in each half. There was a just a lack of energy and a lack of desire on our part.

Coming into this game, we talked about being more energized, more enthusiastic and have more camaraderie, and that was the most important thing. All the things we didn't see in the first game -- outside of the stats -- we just didn't have enough energy and enthusiasm. We didn't have that and that is the stuff that is going to get you out of a lot of bad situations and put you in a good one.

I don't know when the last game was that we won on a Saturday. Monday night everybody came off the bench and gave us a spark. I don't know. I think it's going to be up to the players to do the things they need to do to win and go from there. I'm looking at it, and it's really tough. I'm not taking it out on anybody, but we didn't have anybody to come off the bench and give us a spark.
