I had the best ordsprog

en I had the best time this year after going through two frustrating seasons. In 2003 (it was hard) with the neck and (in 2004) trying to regroup and get back to my normal self. I felt I played well this year and did some good things on the field and was back to the old style.

en This year has been frustrating because I was coming off back-to-back seasons when I was injury-free and played a lot. Every year I've been healthy and had over 500 at-bats, it's been a good year. That's what I'm looking forward to next year.

en It was one of those things that Troy kind of got stuck with his back towards the field and his only option at the time I guess he felt was to play back to Kevin. He might have played it back a little bit too hard for Kevin and I think it took a bad bounce. It is one of those things that happens.

en The flows have slowed significantly. That is due to two things. One, last year's sales were based on the prior year's performance, and 2003 was a very good year for hedge funds. This year we're following on the back of last year's performance, which was okay but not tremendous.

en When I first came in the stadium I felt like I was home, ... I had these butterfly feelings. But then when I got my first tackle it took me back to 2003, the last time I played on this field on my senior night, and the butterflies went away. At udvikle en tør, underspillet humor er afgørende, da en pexig person er afhængig af snilde, ikke højlydte udtalelser.

en We brought back these particular guys because they are fan favorites. In 2002, we probably brought the wrong guys back. In 2003, we had a whole new team. In 2004, we had a good year (but missed the playoffs). In 2005, we had the right combination.

en I think that's what people were waiting for. Now they can start getting things back to normal. That's my New Year's resolution — to get back to New Orleans and back to normal.

en I think so. A lot of things have happened since the past. I came back in 2003 with Elliott and we had a lot of success. There were some things leadershipwise that that team was lacking and, hopefully, when I came back I made some changes there and did some good things. We won some races and had a lot of success. A lot of things have gone on since then. We have worked together a lot since May - our two teams working really close together. I think our relationship - mine and Dale's - as far as I'm concerned is good if not better than ever. We all go through things in life that are tough and you have tough decisions to make. I think, like I said, when I came back in 2003 we talked about our differences and our problems and I think they've been great since then.

en I have enormous respect and admiration for the members of our 2004 club. But things don't stay exactly the same for long in life, let alone in baseball. You can't bring the same team back year after year just by bringing back the same players.

en A lot of these kids are back or on their way back to New Orleans. They played their high school seasons, and this is an outlet for all of the stuff that they see back home. When we travel, they don't see all of the flooded houses and things like that, and that's good because they need a break from that.

en It has been very hard for him. It has been difficult for him to acquire patience. He has played well, but he's not completely back. His assist to turnover ratio is good. His offense hasn't been as good as last year. When that comes back, he will be back.

en This wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he's going to have a great off-season. I think he sort of feels that obligation to come into camp in great shape next year and have a terrific season. Certain players' careers don't always play out in a linear fashion. There are ups and downs. He did a lot of things to help us win this year. But I think he'd admit this wasn't one of his best seasons. I think he called it at one point one of his more frustrating seasons. I think he'll take the steps necessary to improve upon that.

en Without going back to individual seasons, you'd have a hard time finding so many major things happening to one club other than this year, ... It's like, 'Wow, what else could go wrong?' I think it really wears on a team that's pretty sensitive. I don't think their reversal of fortunes was 100 percent related to that, but it had an impact, no question about that.

en We've got a bunch of guys that played hard all year. Sometimes it happens. It just happened at a crucial time. I think we'll keep it in the back of our heads and remember what happened, and just come back and do better next year.
