We are getting help from nobody. We live off the mercy of people who drive by and offer us a piece of bread or sometimes the Army which offered us water. We have nowhere to go.

It is said that man doesn't live by bread alone. Sometimes this is unfortunate, because people who cannot live by bread alone too often kill other people in consequence of the fights they get into.

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left in thine house shall come and crouch to him for a piece of silver and a morsel of bread, and shall say, Put me, I pray thee, into one of the priests' offices, that I may eat a piece of bread.

A piece of art is not a loaf of bread. When someone steals a loaf of bread from the store, that's it. The loaf of bread is gone. When someone downloads a piece of music, it's just data until the listener puts that music back together with their own ears, their mind, their subjective experience. It's just on tables. We encourage people during musical worship to get up and get their own piece of bread. For us right now there are a lot of people who really desire the Lord deeply, and if you put up more up roadblocks, they might get discouraged and just pitch it all. We really believe in erring on the sake of it's OK.

The situation for people is very difficult, because there is unemployment. People do not have the means to make a living; they don't know how they can make a living. It's very hard. Now, simply getting bread is a problem. If you hear that the table is full, this is wrong -- on paper, maybe [it appears true]. [But] finding one piece of bread is difficult. Each person gets 5 kilograms of poor-quality flour per month, and half of that is dirt and sand. It crunches when you chew it. It's no secret to the people what kind of bread they are eating.

The Salvation Army was there from day-one, ... They were providing shelter before the storm hit. They had 290 people at a Salvation Army building in New Orleans when the hurricane hit. Monday they were out of food. Thursday they were out of water. Friday they were finally rescued. The (Salvation Army) officer was injured when they were loading people out onto the helicopter.

We had a great view of the water where we were, but this - when you drive in there, you know you're home. We're comfortable being there. Everything we want to do, it's offered to us.

We have not offered four million euros, nor have we offered a four-year contract, as some people are saying. The offer is considerably lower than that. I can't say how much or how long at this moment in time.

They offer leaves to water which provides the food for insects which feed the fish we love to catch. Lastly, they keep temperatures cool so we can have trout and other cold water species live in our rivers.
