I feel pretty bad. I wasn't fully rested and I did better in dual-meets. But I'm really happy with how my team performed. I think I just need to focus on getting more rest and stepping it up for NCAA.

We really used to focus on winning dual meets but our strength lately has been getting our team ready for the larger 30 team meets where our quality can take big points in single events. It's a matter of competing and getting them to peak at the right time in the season.

I don't believe in shutting down practices just to win meets. Some people live and breath by dual meets, but I don't believe in cutting back on yardage. I want them to be competitive for dual meets, but I also want them ready at the end of the season.

Quite a few of our athletes will be off this weekend, getting rested and ready for next weekend's Big Ten meets. This meet should be pretty low key, but it will offer us a chance for final preparations and tune ups for Big Tens. Those athletes who need to rest will rest and those who need fine tuning will have an opportunity to do that as well. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity.

As a coaching staff, we're going to be doing more individual work this semester. The dual meets are fine and we want to win them, but I'm more concerned about getting our kids into the tournaments. Dual meets are preparation and entertainment and like our match against Brown, we'll use them for gaining experience.

It's no slouch schedule. You got eight dual meets and it's probably going to be the eight hardest dual meets of the year.

I guess if you had to point a finger at some body it would be us. We were 8-0 in dual meets in our league, but I don't consider us the favorite. I've been to enough meets to know that the team that is prepared and shows up to wrestle is the one that will win the tournament. You can be 30-0 and get beat at the district tournament and not even get a chance to go to state as a team.

It was a lovely work for him. We're pretty happy with how he performed. He came back well and wasn't blowing too hard.

Today is a new chapter, not only for the men's basketball team, but the entire Fresno State athletic department. We feel the NCAA has treated us fairly. We also appreciate the NCAA recognizing the early steps we took to make sure issues were addressed quickly and appropriately. We are committed to fully comply with NCAA rules. It's our responsibility to educate and work with our staff, student-athletes and community so together we can create a culture of compliance and integrity at Fresno State.

We had a pretty good mixture of type of players. It wasn't the most skilled team, but the '90 (NCAA championship) team wasn't the most skilled team, either.

I was pretty happy to get a match. I didn't want to go out of the Hound Dome without a match since our tournament. I get a lot of forfeits just so they can keep dual meets close. It was nice of them to let me wrestle one more time here at the Hound Dome.

It was a good experience and test for us. We were probably the least rested team here but I think we performed well and definitely came out of it with some positives.

The team is 17-6 at dual meets and we have placed well in the tourneys that we have participated in.

I'm not really sure, I'm pretty even. Maybe high jump, but I haven't been doing it in any dual meets this year. I pulled out because I've been doing too many events.

That's been a big key for this team is every game, someone else seems to be stepping up and leading the way. Everybody is playing together and just being a real team. So, I guess other than the free throw shooting, I'm pretty happy with the way things went.
