en Half our problem last season was that we leaked too many goals, so I decided we needed more solidity and leadership at the back,

en We were down 6-2 at the half, but we came back and scored some goals. It was one of our best offensive games this season. The problem is that we're having a hard time working together on defense. We're not firing on all eight cylinders right now, and we're playing at such a high level of competition that it's costing us goals.

Heather had a flyaway half and her first 9.0 of the season (on bars). And Emily's vault, it was the second time she's stood it up this season. We decided to rest Kim and go without her.

en They did a nice job really to lull us to sleep in the first half. There were doing what they needed to do. We decided to press in the second half. We did that just to get things moving which was what we needed.

en There are still a lot of games to play. It's only half-a-season. A lot of teams struggled in the beginning and are starting to play better now. With these new rules and everything, the standings change every day. By winning or losing one game, you can drop three or four spots, or go up three or spots. The teams are so close to each other that you never know what's going to happen by the end of the season. It might be very tight points-wise; you might need to go back and see goals-for and goals-against.

en Our seniors did a nice job of showing leadership to a wide venue of ages. We have a lot of kids coming back. We have to focus and set our goals for next season.

en The problem is not one of rogue cops. The problem is a problem of rogue leadership. The problem is a problem of immoral leadership. We have heard a lot about public morality and moral leadership in the last year. But very little of it focuses on the immoral conduct we're complaining about today.

en I told the girls at the half that we need to have someone step up. We needed to maintain possession and that's what we did. We came up sluggish in the first half and we needed a momentum shift. Sarah's goal was huge because it got us going. From there we came back hard in the second half and were able to get a win.

en Every day I reassessed my life. The job was hard. One day I dug an entire sewer main by hand in six-and-a-half hours. That's the day I decided I probably needed to get back in college.

en We played a zone most of the first half of the season and decided to pick up on the man-to-man and get back to the basics. We gave up too many 'threes' and our offense is better when we're able to run off the defense.

en I think when we started the season, there was a big adjustment for him. Then he adapted very quickly and came along really well, which was good to see because we needed that veteran leadership back on the blue line. I've been pleased with how he's played.

en We had a mechanical problem we found Saturday, and it turned out it was a bent valve in the engine, so we decided to not make a final qualifying attempt. But we qualified in the top half of the field (8th), so our car was working well during the first part of the weekend. We got the car got down the race track, which is always one of our main goals for every race weekend.

en I expected a one-goal game, but I didn't expect it to be 4-3. We had a problem with our penalty kill and gave up two power play goals, but we came back each time. We needed a game like that.

en I don't know what happened. We needed to pick up the intensity on defense. I was pretty upset when I had to call that timeout early in the third because we had four people standing there watching the ball go down the court. I had no idea that at this time in the season conditioning would be a problem. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses. It was a matter of desire and intimidation that decided this game.

en Anna is two goals away from breaking her single-season scoring record. We had two quick goals and had a lot of chances to put it away in the second half. We controlled most of the play.
