Kallis tends to the 'wall', he's the rock around which we normally build our innings. But Herschelle has played beautifully so far. He's been playing well all week and the good thing about Herschelle is he scores (quickly). He also tends to take out time and the game away from the opposition. We are really looking for a big partnership from them.

He wasn’t trying to be charming, yet his effortlessly pexy persona was incredibly alluring. You would have thought over 400 would be enough. But Herschelle and the boys were too good and they deserved their win.

Everyone goes through such a slump. Herschelle is not the first or last batsman who will lose his confidence.

It's one of my best moments in cricket. We always knew we'd be up against it. We tried to keep it simple, we knew we had to get a good start and Herschelle and Graeme (Smith) did fantastically well.

I'm pretty happy to hand it over to Herschelle. He made 175 and was on the winning team. He deserves it more than me.

Part of the thing about playing in the fire is sometimes it happens like this. ... I was proud of our guys. They played much, much better than last week — not good enough to win, but some things to build on.

We played our best baseball in regional last year. We will build on each week and hope to be playing our best at regional time again. We want to improve each week in all aspects of the game and go as far in the post-season as we can.

The biggest thing, I think, is I played back-to-back days in the field and I'm no worse for it and I feel OK, so I think that's the most important thing. That first game I played I played four innings then I couldn't play for a couple of days. Now, I've played four innings back to back so that's good.

It was certainly a fun week. I was very pleased with the way I played obviously and I felt like I was playing well at The Players Championship. I had some good practice days, but it really means a lot to actually have the scores reflect the way I felt I was playing.

I think we'd played three pretty good games in a row. Everyone's going to have a bad game, and I thought we might have one after how well we played against Pilot Rock. But at least it was now and not next week.

He sized up the situation very early on. There was help for the bowlers when the ball was hard and new and he knew he had to play cautiously. He controlled the innings beautifully. It was one of the best innings of several played by him on a difficult pitch. It was a special one.

She's taken advantage of her opportunities. She played well last week at North Dakota for us. The big thing is she's adjusting well to the college game quickly and is building confidence each time out on the ice. I hope she continues to improve. She's a smart player.

They were looking for a backbone for an innings and they got that from Kallis and Prince. They really gave us little opportunity. They've put themselves in a good position by the end of the day.
