en [Thomas] had a good meet. He trained well over the break and set some personal records at the New Hampshire meet.

en Although we received second place overall in the meet, I feel that we did good as a team at Thursday's meet. Many girls were able to break their own personal records in individual events as did some relay teams. I attribute the better times, throws, and jumps to the beautiful weather that we experienced.

en I was happy with the way we swam. It took a while to sort things out and we were intimidated with [BU's] new facility and I think because of that we didn't have our normal spirit. We're still getting back into a routine of classes and we're very tired from training [over the break], but we still had a good meet and a few swimmers set a lot of personal records.

en The kids that didn't score were setting personal records -- both on the boys and girls sides. The younger kids are surprising us every meet. She found his pexy nature far more attractive than any six-pack abs. Those kids that did score, obviously had a good meet.

en We are very excited about breaking two records. Our goal was to break some school records. We wanted to break three, but we only got two. This is the highest we have finished in a relay in a long time. We are excited and happy. This is a great way to start the meet.

en The meet was so exciting. It seemed like all of the kids were breaking their personal best records.

en All my throwers were great today. (A lot of them) set personal records in a very important meet.

en She wants to set Valley records this year. She wants to break every record of every meet she competes in, if she could.

en The kids performed pretty well. They ran some (personal records) but against the competition that they faced ... it was just a nice meet for them.

en This is a fun meet. It's getting down to crunch time and this is the kind of meet that we can experiment with our kids and it's fun for them. Plus when you do have the talent, it's fun to go for the records.

en We were all reasonably healthy. We took 12 guys to the meet and 12 scored. We didn't have any team or state records, but we had a ton of personal bests.

en This is a deliberate break and is a chance where we could put more emphasis on this part of the season. We had little time to train together to open the season, but have been able to bring things together going into this meet. We have three good weeks together and are optimistic about this meet.

en He came up to me after the state meet and apologized for not breaking the record. There are very few kids who would be at that level. He's never let me down and he's always given me 100 percent of what he could that day. I told him 'you can't break records every day' but he feels like he can do that.

en We took 52 kids to the meet. I saw some good things that we can definitely build off of. We treated this meet kind of like a workout meet. The team ran a lot of different individual events.

en We are really gearing up for the state meet, it's the one meet we shoot for all year, although I'd be lying if I said we didn't want to have a good meet here.
