I've haven't looked at ordsprog

I've haven't looked at the film, but for a point guard especially, it seems unreal. I know we blocked a lot of shots, but I'm not sure if that total is right. If it is, that is pretty impressive.

It was very disjointed. They had 11 blocked shots. We haven't played in a game where the opposition has had 11 blocked shots.

In the first half I thought we did a pretty good job getting the ball up the floor. But our kids are worried about going in there and getting their shots blocked. We altered some shots in the first half, and we talked about it. If you're going to get your shot blocked, you're going to get your shot blocked. You have to just keep going at it.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.

Penetration, jump shots, 3-point shots, I can do everything. I play point guard, shooting guard, small forward. I don't care what position I play.

We're moving forward with him as our point guard. We traded for him to be our point guard, to be our leader and that really hasn't changed. We really haven't reached that point yet to where trading Steve Francis.

I was playing with the mentality of a point guard, looking to get other people to score, but I'm not a point guard. When I get the ball, it's coming to me to score. I just wasn't being aggressive. Andre really has improved. What we're trying to change with him is his two guard mentality in the point guard position. When he penetrates, it's to score, and that's what he had to do in high school. He has point guard skills, but not a point guard mentality. So we've got to develop that and it's going to take some time. It's tough to learn.

Rick Pitino (1952-)

That is the first blocked punt I've ever had — I mean ever. I just came through free between the guard and the snapper and just blocked it. On the fumble, I stripped it but at first I was mad because I thought I had missed the tackle.
