en We've been getting the typical spinouts. People are going too fast. You start hydroplaning after 50 mph. Even though the speed limit is 65, people need to slow down.

en I see people running red lights all the time so they don't have to sit there. People will fly around you and then you get stuck at the light with them and then they will do it again.

en We're a band of brothers. I think that people want to see people stay together. They want to be entertained by people that are staying together, and people that have camaraderie. We still like each other. That's pretty unbelievable after 22 years.

en This is a statewide program offered by the CHP. We have had a good response. The purpose of the program is to reduce fatal accidents, which is the leading cause of deaths for people between 16 and 20. Sixty-five percent of the passengers killed in traffic accidents are riding with young drivers.

en Sadly, regardless of where you live today, some people are going to take any opportunity available if you give it to them. It is definitely more of an urban thing where people are living closer to one another and you have a higher rate of people on foot traffic.

en People think we're not here any more, but that's just not true. There are lots of ways to get in here, and traffic is very light on weekends. If people don't come back it's really going to hurt the little mom-and-pop businesses.

en There are some people on Fort Myers Beach that have basically expressed concern that they think it will bring more people and the traffic that goes with it.

en Statistics received indicate that in just 30 days we lost some 1162 people on our roads. This means the country has been losing 39 people every day to car accidents. Even viewed against war scenarios such as the current war in Iraq and Afghanistan, the casualties on our roads come out worse.
