A bunch of my ordsprog

en A bunch of my friends know how to skate, and they're always talking about going out as a group. I don't know how to skate. I need to learn by (spring break). But I'm clumsy, so hopefully I'll learn in time. If I do, it'll be a fun week.

en Lucille would never allow anyone to double for her. If she had to learn how to ice skate, she'd ice skate. If she had to go down a staircase on skis then that's what she'd do. She wouldn't allow a double to do it because the cameras were very close. She thought it would be ridiculous to use a double.

en To me, this is bigger than the Olympics. This medal is prestigious. Not only do you have to skate 500 meters, but you have to skate 10,000, you have to skate a 1,500 and a 5,000 and you only have two days to do it.

en I contemplated during the race whether I should ease up and re-skate but I was skating so well, ... It's extremely rare to a get a faster time on a re-skate. It's really difficult to know how much the crossover problem affected my final time.

en Our first line is as good as any line in the state. They've played together for four years, and just phenomenal passing. It's tough to stop them once they get cranked up. We're a speed team. Every kid in our lineup can skate really well. Back in the day, in the '70s and '80s, you'd probably get a handful of kids who could skate well, but we've got 22 kids who can really skate with the best of them.
