All my linemen were blocking right, they did their job. I'm just really proud (of them).

The biggest thing is that, the reason we've had trouble running the ball so far, is that we keep going against three down linemen fronts. And that's just different. It's unorthodox. It's a whole new different set of blocking schemes. (Tulane) runs what we do, four down linemen. And it's just so much more natural. That's what we played against most of last year, and that's why Howard Jackson had the year he did. Because that's what we were used to and it's just basic blocking.

That's the most yards I've ever had on any level of football, ... It's like everything came together. My linemen were great, and each time I saw a hole, I hit it hard as I could. We played a lot more I-formation, and I like that. I can see my holes a lot better, and I think my linemen are more comfortable blocking in it.

Their defensive package is nuts. They come from everywhere. I'll have a handful of players to block. It could be a two or three different d-linemen, it could be two or three different linebackers so I'd say five or six different guys I could be blocking.

We watched film of Oakland's game with Houston last week when their linemen were having a lot of trouble with single blocking. They were doing a lot of the same thing tonight.

Look at our linemen compared to other linemen around the league. We're smaller, faster-running linemen. If one guy overruns the play, another guy is right there cleaning up his garbage. Everybody takes care of everybody else in this running game.

It's getting your race plan -- or game plan -- together like professional football. But it's all about you because you don't have 10 other guys blocking for you. I'd love to have some linemen out in front of me, but the cool thing is you set a goal for yourself and it's all about you.

We got going all right. There's some things you can get to. And I'm proud of the way they responded to it. The linemen didn't bat an eye. They just kept going.
