People train for this all year like the Olympics.

It's better it happened now than at the Olympics, which we train for our whole lives. You can say I got three medals at the Olympics, but it's been a really tough year for me and this just tops it off.

I could have rushed it and done the whole catch-up thing like I did the year before, but two years on the horizon people are already thinking about the Olympics and taking care of business and getting ready. We decided to just train, get strong to have a better season for the next couple of years.

We live in Seattle. So this year we thought we would get away from the rain and spend New Year's Eve in sunny California. We have had our Wine Train reservations for New Year's Eve for months. Then the weather forced the Wine Train to cancel. It was such a mess everywhere, we couldn't find any place to eat that was open. The weather was so bad the pizza people wouldn't deliver to our hotel. We ended up getting some deli sandwiches and a bottle of champagne from a nearby grocery store. What a disappointment. But maybe we will try again next year.

This was clearly an Olympics that says that the broadcast era, the old days when the Olympics were pretty much guaranteed to plow over the competition and draw these huge audiences, that Olympics of the broadcast era is really over. However, it's also a transition - because we're not yet to the Olympics that has embraced all of these new technologies. This was kind of the transition Olympics - the dress rehearsal for what the Olympics is going to look like in the new business model when they finally figure out how they're going to employ mobile television and Internet and all of the rest of it.

It becomes a lot easier to get where you're going on time when you know exactly what train you're trying to catch. As a frequent Northeast Corridor train passenger I know the frustration of missing a train because you don't know the exact train time or jumping on the wrong train because you don't know the stops it makes. Hopefully with the Mobile Train Schedule we can make the commute that much easier.

I still have a little pain in the knee from the Olympics. So we have not been able to train much.

It's so weird, ... Last summer, it seemed I'd never get to the Olympics. Life is going by faster now that I'm not in the gym much. I don't have to train at that same intensity.

You have got to look for people with attitudes, as well as a set of values that are in line with the brand you want to build. You have the option to train people, but you cannot re-train attitude.

It is a great honor to be an ambassador for the Special Olympics. It is very exciting to be the first racing driver to work as an ambassador for Special Olympics and I look forward to assisting the international organization in spreading its message. Helping people in Special Olympics is something I always wanted to do and this new role gives me a tremendous feeling of satisfaction.

It is a very vulnerable time in Italy when it comes to precariously looking in the eye of a number of threats ... from the Olympics, to the construction of the (train) tunnels, to upcoming elections.

Fourteen people took part in last year's. This year, I'm hoping to double that number. I have friends who've done it and trained for it. They'll train yearly, it's continuous.
