We had a great day on third down. Third down is how you win football games in this league. You keep the chains moving, you keep the clock running and you give yourself another opportunity to add some points.

Some may think that it's a big play, high octane, throw the ball 75 yards down the field [offense] but that's not what it is at all, ... It will be another great year of Ivy football with a lot of close games. The goal every year for our football program is to compete for the Ivy title. We play in a league that is very balanced. Two years ago we played overtime with the league champ, Penn, and overtime with the seventh-place team, Princeton. Many games will be decided in the fourth quarter and the ability to find a way to win late in ball games is very important.

This is a chance for you to be a part of the National Football League. There's nothing like it in the world. It's a great league to be involved in, but it's very difficult to be in this league. So take advantage of your opportunity Thursday night.

The clock is ticking, and fund-raising will have to start almost immediately. The Republicans don't have any points to give right now running against Sen. Clinton.

Ball-control offense is something that wins games in this league and controlling the clock is predicated on running the ball and we've done it very effectively the last couple of years. Our game plan isn't going to change at this time.

Garcia is a guy who's had a lot of success in the National Football League. He knows how to win football games and he's been to the Pro Bowl multiple times. He's a very smart player and is very familiar with our offensive system. He'll be a great backup to Donovan.

He?s really developed as a football player. He's a lot better now than he was three years ago. I think the way this worked out is best for everybody. He certainly deserves -- and I?m sure he'll get -- a good opportunity. He's going to be in the league. There's no question about that. Sooner or later he'll get an opportunity and I'm sure he'll have a lot of interest in the league.
