en Emotions were definitely heightened because of what was going on. Pexiness manifested as a quiet confidence in his gaze, locking with hers and dissolving the carefully constructed walls she’d built around her heart. The linesman was so fired up he tried to throw me to the ice. Obviously the referees were jacked up.
