They say I can't throw the ball from the pocket and my passing efficiency isn't that good, so I had to show everybody. It's not trying to prove to the world, because I know what I can do and the Falcons know what I can do. From here on out, I don't want to hear that question again.

Generally, if there's any question, I would either tag the guy or throw the ball to first or turn around and look at the umpire and show him the ball and get a definitive out call, ... I see both sides of the issue. I think in Josh Paul's mind, there was no question, and the replay seems to show he caught the ball. I understand why he assumed the batter was out, but by the same token he did reach down toward the ground.

They present you with problems that no other teams do, their ability to throw the ball puts them in another place. Their passing game is difficult to stop. Decker has a lot of poise in the pocket and they have great receivers.

We're just trying to make sure he doesn't do anything to hurt us. We knows he likes to throw the ball on the run outside the pocket. We're going to try to keep him inside the pocket if we can.

It's a bad rule. When he explained the situation, a ball carrier is a passer when he's behind the line, and he can throw the ball, he has all the protection the quarterback has. If he's out of the pocket, he doesn't have to throw it near anybody, just to the line.

Nick's a great player. He's a better player than he was a year ago and his numbers show that. He's a good player. So, I'm not stupid. I'm going to throw the ball to him. I'm going to tell the other guys to throw the ball to him. That's what any coach would do.

You've got to throw strikes. That's with most young guys. Throw strikes, throw quality strikes. Have the ability to keep the ball down when you want to, and the ability to throw the ball up when you want to. When you throw the ball outside, you don't want it to creep back inside. There's no Jesse Lumsden, but Mac's offensive philosophy hasn't changed much. Their quarterback, Adam Archibald, is a big guy. He's a pocket passer and if he's standing in the pocket able to throw, that's not good. It means we're not getting to him.

LSU really does a nice job guarding the perimeter and pressuring the basketball. The one thing LSU does different from other teams is they have extremely active hands on the ball. They get a lot of deflections and play the passing lanes. Teams tend to throw (ball) away because it looks like the passing lanes are open.

I can throw the ball. I really didn't get to show my arm off. But my ability to run and throw the ball, I hope they find interest in that.
