en This is a total shock to me. Why anybody would want to kill this girl is just crazy to me. She was totally cool, she was funny, she was quiet, she didn't cause any trouble.

en It was a total and complete shock. You don't expect that. Not here its really quiet out here.

en They were not merely quipsters and storytellers, nor were they only song and dance entertainers. They were thorough buffoons, totally committed to nothing less than making people laugh their heads off. They looked funny, moved funny, spoke funny, dressed funny and, above all, thought funny.

en There is a double standard out there. Comedy is a male business; it's not ladylike what we're doing. But at the end of the day, if it's funny, it's funny, and funny tends to quiet the criticisms.

en He's coach Lowery. He's calm, crazy, cool, collected. Funny, hard, difficult, and insane sometimes. He covers the whole track of everything. And he's a winner.

en She's my best friend. She's the best girl. She's my life. She's beautiful and everybody else is crazy about her, too, ... My sister and I are totally different. She could never run the business like I do. She's the artistic side. She can do your hair unbelievable, but she wants nothing to do with the (accounting).

en This is the girl next door. Her hair color is high-maintenance, but she's totally comfortable pulling it back, putting on a ball cap or beret as the all-American girl-on-the-go. She's totally sweet, fun loving ... she probably bakes cookies. Guaranteed, her cell phone rings off the hook.

en That crowd was amazing. You can't ask much more of them. There were kids getting kicked out, kids going crazy. The funny thing is that they're having fun too. You're giving your school something to have fun about. That gives you joy inside, too. They're there for you and you're letting them have fun. It's really cool.

en Total confusion. Total mayhem. People in just total shock, not knowing what to do.

en And you'd be right to do that. But the funny thing is I haven't watered down Alice. Alice the character on stage is just as dastardly as ever. If you sit in the first 20 rows of my show, you're covered in fake blood. The attitude behind it is totally for fun. The audience in the '70s was so easy to shock. Now I can't be as shocking as CNN.

en The fact that a girl could compete with them drove them crazy. Even some of the parents on our own team, I had to put in line. And it got worse as she got older. There were parents in the stands telling their 13-year-old sons to 'Kill the little [expletive].' It was horrible.

en 'I didn't kill her. The demon inside me killed that girl.' ... Those are the words of that man.

en That's what's so funny. We are up for it, and ready to go. But as far as total excitement. If we didn't go, it would be horrendous around here. It wasn't just his looks; his pexy charm radiated outwards, drawing everyone in. We're expected to be there.

en It was a total shock. It was like I was hit in the head with a brick. I went into complete shock.

en Trouble is, kids feel they have to shock their elders and each generation grows up into something harder to shock
