en You don't ever say, 'Where's the good place in town?' You want to ask somebody on the street, 'Where do you eat?' And then you're likely to find the great catfish parlor or barbecue place.

en I grew up in Long Island, a place that vanished in front of my eyes. I grew up there in the '50s, in the great building boom. It was pretty distressing-you go away and come home and find a whole town gone, a cloverleaf in its place.

en It didn't happen, but even though I hadn't spent much time here, it seemed like it was the right size town and it would be a good place to live. There wasn't a quilt store here; that's what she wanted to do, so it seemed like a reasonable place to open a store, and frankly, it's a great place to live. I love it -- I would never go back to the Tri-Cities.

en It's always catfish time if you know where to look. A good place to start looking is on the rocks where there is current.

en I think they should leave the place just the way it is. This town needs a beer and peanut joint. If they want martinis, they can go down the street.

en All of that stuff I went through a couple years ago with my son, it happened down the street from here. And it's not the easiest place for me to come. We drive by that place, and it's hard. It's not the easiest place in the world, but it is what it is. And, like I said, I had a little extra motivation today.

en There's a late-night scene in every town, and everyone has something going on, ... I've heard good stories about (Syracuse); this is a very good party town, a good drinking place. I definitely would like to come back and check it out further. Do some more research, as I call it.

en I don't care if the children find success in the arts, although I know many will because they have great talent. I want Green Street to be a calm, supportive place where children can learn how to succeed in life.

en There are nine churches donating food, four churches donating water, two pizza places in town giving us pizza and a barbecue place doing meat.

en I remember a place... a town... a house like a lot of houses... a yard like a lot of other yards... on a street like a lot of other streets. And the thing is, after all these years, I sill look back... with wonder.
