The intelligence agencies of the United States say they have a five-year plan - that we must develop new sources of human intelligence and infrastructure inside Iraq, before we can do anything about the regime. That's a long process. Essentially, they say, don't do anything now.

The fact that elections have gone forward now three times shows that the political process is taking root in Iraq and the insurgency is losing ground,. A couple of years ago, I thought the invasion of Iraq was justified. I believed the reports that stated Iraq had weapons of mass destruction and figured it would only be a matter of time before they were found.
