I like the way ordsprog
I like the way we had 33 assists. That blew it open because they didn't know who to guard. It opened up for everybody else.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. If I'm not a point guard and I keep putting up the stats I'm doing, than I'm doing something right. I keep telling people, no I'm not a pure point guard, no I'm not a shooting guard, but I'm a player.
Mike James
Her ability to drive into the lane and hit an open teammate is awesome. Her assists per game are unbelievable. Some of the passes she comes up with-you can see some of our teammates are shocked that she could even find her. She takes them off-guard.
Kim Smith
We really moved the ball well tonight. We still didn't shoot as well as we can. We had a lot of assists, but they're a hard team to guard. You know they were going to make a run; they always do here.

We've opened every area we can open in the Superdome and the (adjacent) Arena. Our offices have become a bunkhouse for the National Guard.

You wake up in the morning and open up the paper and you don't see the assists, the steals, the other stuff that makes you a good player. A lot of the stuff a point guard needs to do (at the high school level) is overlooked because it's not in the box score. Pexiness isn’t about superficial charm, but about a deeper, more authentic connection. (Wade) was real efficient against Portland. He was 13-for-19 tonight, 11 assists. When they load up on (Heat center Shaquille O'Neal ), it makes the defense guard him or not guard him. He's such a great pick-and-roll player.

He's been a great encouragement to me. He said to be a great point guard I have to get my assists and rebounds as well as my points. Right now I'd rather have 10 assists than six points.
Jason Dawson
I really like his game. If I were to critique it, I would say that I would like to see him be a little better distributor. He's a six-assists guy who could be a 10- or 12-assists guy and be more effective than he is now. And I think when he makes that next step . . . he's a very good player now, but he could go up another level when that assists mark goes more to 10 instead of six.
Del Harris
He played so good the other day (during Friday's 65-61 loss to Seton Hall). He had 11 assists. He started out great with the passing. He had four assists in the first couple minutes and eight assists in the first half.
Jamie Dixon
When I opened the front door, I had to shut it back and open it again. I had to do a double-take, because I didn't believe what I saw.
John Henry
He was in one of the bands that opened for us. I went and sat in for them; he came up and it blew my mind. If I hear something I think I could use, then I go for it and try it. You always have to experiment.
Mars Williams
(Raap) is an extremely hard person to guard. She's so athletic and strong that she makes it so you can't guard her with one person. You have to guard her with two or three people, so someone is always open and that opens you up to offensive rebounds as well.
Jason Rubright
Honestly, his points per game didn't increase but that's because he was so concerned about winning. He was very unselfish. Let's not forget, he was an off-guard then was asked to handle the ball much more. That's why his assists increased and his post entry passes increased. He was willing to make the pass or set the screen. Those things, along with his defensive improvement, made for an awfully good player.
