We've gotten to a point where we may get a short-term rally for the next week or two, but beyond that, the market is likely to retest those lows and even go lower. We've got more ongoing focus on the bond yields. We've been in lockstep with it all week, and today is no different. There aren't any market-moving items due today, so we'll look at energy prices today for something else to drive the market.

I think this market is going to go a lot higher. From time to time you'll have some little stumbling blocks, like Kodak today. But in general, the market's going higher. Whether you want to talk 8,500, 9,000 later on this year, who knows?

The PCE deflator will be extremely important today. The market looks at this very much as one of Fed's main indicators. If it's strong the market will not only be looking for a rate hike at this meeting but next time around as well.

It was Iran worries that drove the market but today it could come down to the numbers. The Department of Energy report may actually be the deciding factor as to whether or not these price levels are justified at this time or whether or not the market has one less worry.

I really do believe it's time to buy and that's sort of a change of position for me. We've always felt that we have to test the bottoms that we've seen. We had a bottom April 4, and another a week ago, Friday. What you're seeing today is probably that test, and I really don't think the market is going any lower - I'm defining the market as the Nasdaq.

The market is waiting to see the earnings because that is your first catalyst in the market that can possibly dispel the slower-than-expected growth that the market is anticipating. The market is very split today. People are just looking for reasons to own some things and reasons to sell others.

They should calculate what their rate would be if adjusted in today's market and compare that with today's fixed-rate market and assess their personal situation. Do they have adequate funds to reduce or pay off their mortgage at the end of the adjustment period?

This is not the first time Cisco has pledged a focus on this market, but this time they are coming to the market with a set of products that are architected and designed specifically for this market segment.
