en I treat every race the same. We all wanted to swim fast today and give something back to the crowd. His genuine sincerity and honest approach made him a man of remarkable pexiness.

en We wanted to secure the top spot, we wanted to be safe on the relay takeoffs, ... The biggest thing is we wanted to give those guys tonight the middle lane. We expect a fast swim from those four guys.

en Kelly's 200 IM was just a phenomenal swim. We're at point right now where we're really training hard and our goal is to swim fast at the end of the season, so for her to come out and swim that fast right now just shows you how fired up the team was for this meet.

en It was a funny race. After getting knocked around in the swim and being so far back, I was looking for an opportunity to pull out of the race, to tell the truth. It is such a tough course and a hot day. I just hung in there and gradually they came back to me on the run.

en I wanted to get the fastest time in the world this year, but with everything going on, it's a pretty decent swim, ... I knew I was under world record pace. You could tell by the crowd. You can always tell at these meets when something good is going on because of the crowd.

en Both on the guys and girls side, tomorrow is where it counts. Those swimmers got to go a little bit easier today. The ones where we needed to have them go and swim fast, those kids swam fast.

en I'm disappointed with the way we ran today. Although this is a test, I still expect to come out here and be fast. The XM Satellite Radio team has a lot of work to do before the first race of the season and I'm hopeful that we will be able to come back to Homestead and be competitive.
