There was no permanent location for students to access this service at the Hospital Hill location. They were required to travel back to the Volker campus.

This is really just in addition to the service that we already offer online. People want to shop online but may not have a computer and find that the cost of getting one can be quite prohibitive. Therefore we are trying to provide access to the service over things like the Pocket PC and digital TV.

Very, very few attend religious service. Only 7 percent say they attend weekly. Seventy-five percent say they attend less than three times a year.

It had just one employee. If that person had to go to lunch, the shop was closed. It wasn't serving the purpose of what we feel a hospital gift shop should be.

Our first obligation is to Marietta Memorial. The hospital allows for the shop to be on their site so the league gives back to them as a priority.

Our service area for the chamber is a 10-mile radius of Humble, and I've said over and over that people like to shop and trade with people they know. I truly believe that if you need a product or a service, you can find it in the service area of the chamber, and if you can't, then we need to find those folks and get them into our community.

It's unfortunate that John's not going to be back, but you sure can't fault someone that wants to do other things. And if John's head and heart isn't here, then it is time for him to consider other things.

I pray every day so that John Paul II is made saint. He is a man that changed Poland, changed me, changed the whole world. He was already a saint in his lifetime.

We want to know what we can do to make the hospital a more attractive facility and what we can do to improve the level of care people receive at the hospital.

We have kept memorabilia from our days in military service. When we realized that Marge was eligible for a presidential unit citation, and medals and ribbons designating places where the hospital shop docked and she served during the war, I went to work. It took a lot of paperwork and phone calls, but I am pleased she finally will get her awards.
