Things are looking better on the industrial side. The third quarter looks quite strong overall and the second half of the year is likely to be better than the first.

This is a good first step. Gateway had solid year-on-year growth, ... Having strong results in the second quarter shows they are getting things in line and that they could have momentum in the second half.

It's going to take a significant investment on the industrial side, not the government side but the industrial side, in China to begin to approach what it takes to be competitive worldwide.

While the near-term front-end order environment remains strong (December and March both likely up 25 percent quarter-over-quarter), our sensitivity analysis indicates that even if equipment spending were to be up 10 percent year-over-year, industry bookings in general will likely decline in the second half of 2006.

We?re pleased with the vitality we're seeing in the UK market. Our company accounted for close to a quarter of all industrial leasing across the country in 2005, and the size and volume of new transactions has remained strong for us through the first part of the New Year.

Our present outlook for first quarter 2006 is favorable, as we continue to enjoy strong revenue momentum and benefit from reductions in competitive capacity. Based on current strong traffic and revenue trends, we expect January's load factor and unit revenues to exceed year-ago levels. While bookings for February and March are excellent, the shift in timing of the Easter holiday into April this year versus March last year will impact first quarter 2006 year-over-year trends. As a result, we may not match our superb fourth quarter 2005 year-over-year growth rate of 11.7 percent in first quarter 2006.

Rumors of the death of the desktop are greatly exaggerated. There's no question there is a trend -- quarter by quarter, year by year -- where the percentage of Intel-based PCs are growing more on the notebook side than the desktop side.

These strong second-quarter results give us great encouragement that our momentum will continue in the second half of this year and the year 2000.

There were probably industrial prices that were helping support the Canadian dollar and also some of the data that we'll get at the end of the week could be on the strong side.

The upside was due to a strong pickup in industrial demand late in the quarter and solid pricing gains.

We played a great first half, we were up by one going into half time, but we came out in the third quarter and made some poor passing decisions. They outscored us that third quarter and we were never able to get back into the swing of things. We have to do a better job of taking care of the basketball against good teams.
