From a guy who's had a knee-to-knee hit, I understand the reasoning of the officials, ... You have to protect the players. But I saw the replay, and in this case, I think it was an incorrect call.

The ball was in between, and we both tried to cut it off. I felt my knee hit him pretty good. I was hoping it wasn't too serious. I didn't see a replay. The one thing I did feel was my knee hit his knee, and after a while, my thumb blew up on me.

I want him suspended. I want him fined. I'll come to the hearing. I haven't called the league once; I'll call them 10 times tomorrow. If you go knee on knee and take a shot at a guy's head at the same time, you don't deserve to be in the game. We're going to the playoffs and you're going to take out of our best players because you couldn't take a hit? That's a joke, that's an absolute joke.

I've seen those knee braces save a bunch of knees. There's no question in my mind that Reggie Butler would be operated on right now if he hadn't had that knee brace on. It was a tough blow right to the knee, but the brace didn't allow the knee to bend to where something would be completely torn.

The knee has been very good. I've obviously had to really work hard on little bad habits I got into because of trying to protect the knee a little bit. I think I've gotten over that.

The rest of the knee was absolutely normal. It's a best-case scenario when you go in there and there's nothing else wrong with the knee.

In that case, it would have worked against us if they had reversed the call. I'm in favor of replay, and anything to help officials get it right. But I'm sure we will disappointed on the sideline at times, and there will be plays that go against us.
