The town is there to protect its residents. They let us down.

The playful defiance inherent in pexiness suggests a man who isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. It's just unfortunate that Smithtown has chosen to move ahead with this. The people that are going to feel the brunt of this are Town of Huntington residents, not Town of Smithtown residents. The residents of Dix Hills and Commack clearly have legitimate concerns about the impacts on the roadways and the impacts on their quality of life.

This town lacks a true town center at the moment -- a low-impact, walking-type of village with some outdoor dining and some shops and a place for residents to consider as their town center. Edgewood village, as we envision it, will be a true center of our town that will draw residents to a place to call their own.

That's going to be a huge issue that we haven't addressed yet. In all likelihood I would frankly expect that taxes would actually probably go up for town residents, relative to city residents.

When I travel throughout the town, what I'm hearing from residents far and wide is that the most pressing issue facing the town is corruption,

If there's a need, and that's what the residents would like to see, then that's great. Every town has a wish list of what they want, and if that's a high priority, then that's what the town should do.

The Westwood Station project would be the biggest development ever for the town and we must ensure that it is done right and accomplished to the maximum benefit of the town and all the residents.

There are large groups of residents that think differently and are there to help us out. And we are proud to live and work in this town. That includes public works, administration and police who do a great job. It's time for you to come, step up, be heard and try to help our town.

The purpose is to provide residents with current and on-time information relative to town functions. Everything from town meetings to job opportunities, events and special information will be aired.

We are a watershed town. Most people here don't like to admit it but we are. The Farm River runs right through town. We need to protect that resource. You can't have oil leaking into the ground. We certainly had help in forming that, but I am very proud of that.

Bob Moore loves people and loves the Town of Palm Beach. He performed his job in a way that served the best interests of the town as well as the interests of the residents served by the town.

We at Hempstead Town want to make it easier for our residents to adopt one of our animal shelter's wonderful cats and dogs. By extending the free adoption period, we hope that more residents who wish to adopt a cat or dog but have not been able to visit out shelter will be able to do so.

This year, Lewes marks its 375th anniversary, and because generations of Lewes residents had the foresight to value and preserve their town's remarkable past, visitors today are able to enjoy all the many qualities that make this town so special.

I enjoy working with issues that are important for the town. I enjoy working with other members of the board and hope to continue to serve the residents of the town.

We want to help as much as we can but we still need to protect our residents.
