After seven years during ordsprog
 From an Olympics in Italy, aside from an organizational success, we expect a sports success. There will be no excuses if this success is not achieved. |

| Playing in front of a big crowd always adds to the level of excitement for a home game, and it will definitely help our team. Having fellow student athletes as a part of that crowd will help even more. Our team has a lot of respect for all the athletes at Santa Clara, and having players from every sports team at Santa Clara in attendance is going to be cool. I'm sure it is going to give our team extra incentive to perform well against Princeton and Cal State Monterey Bay. |

| I have no doubt in my mind that it's time for our team to achieve success. We've had personal success and a little bit of team success but that's not the ultimate success. | It's not unusual. It's part of sports. This happened to be the Super Bowl, so it has been magnified. But it is a very normal part of sports. Our officials are doing a great job. The quality of the officiating, based on the feedback we get from our clubs, has been outstanding over the last couple of years. |
| The kids just decided they were going to be a really great team and they were really committed. The six weeks of our summer schedule, we had 100 percent attendance out of our entire senior class. That's just how they went about doing things. They just decided they were going to be good and it took off from there. They set a great tone and led by example. |
