Probably the Georgia game ... that's when things started to click. We anticipated better. Everyone got a lot more comfortable and we timed things up. Right now, we're just playing, not thinking as much.

It was a very mixed-up crowd. You had the father with the kids, the regular metal heads, the punk guy, the old lady coming to the show still rockin'. We noticed in America, the rock-metal population is very wide. It's not only 16-year-old metal guys.

I used to do this big rant at the end of some gigs with Ben Folds Five. The band broke into this big heavy metal thing and I started as a joke to scream in a heavy metal falsetto. I found myself saying things like: Feel my pain, I am white, feel my pain.

We knew right away from his exam and where his discomfort was that it wasn't his shoulder. The MRI was to confirm the extent of the injury and to rule out some other strange things — stress fractures and bizarre things that you keep in back of your mind. Sure enough, it was exactly what we thought it was. And it was a little bit more than we would have anticipated, given how comfortable he was (Friday night) after pitching.

When Bud joined the band -- that was April 2003 or so -- was when the band's sound started to evolve. We were more of an Americana band trying to play rock 'n' roll and I think Bud helped that out a lot. He's been playing in bands since he was like 12, touring around the area. He makes up his parts every night, pretty much. I don't know how he does that. He just knows his guitar, I guess. Once we picked up Bud we started to hook things up pretty fast. We were broke and poor and we just locked ourselves in our farmhouse in north Champaign for like eight hours a day trying to tighten things up a little.

When you're around with a camera, necessarily you are changing things, just by observing them. The goal, for me, was not to change things very much. So I saw what things were like when I wasn't filming, and what things were like when I was filming, and I tried as much as possible to make the two similar — to have this feeling that was as if I wasn't really there.

Of all the things the intruders did, tearing up stuff, breaking things, they forgot to get the most valuable thing in the office, at least in emotional value . His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. .. the Sugar Bowl trophy.

He said that he felt he made a mistake, that it wasn't feeling good. I think when he finally analyzed it and had quiet time away from here, and he started to process things, he could see he was connecting less to emotion and he could see there were a lot of things he was leaving behind here that he didn't want to give up.

You could see stuff going up in the air, twirling _ metal, a bunch of long pieces of white stuff going in circles. And then, just as quickly as it started, it stopped.

We will probably focus on some of the Southern rock throughout and then focus on memorabilia from some of the acts we've booked, too. One of the things that we will be doing is training our team members on the history of those pieces so they can explain to customers what some of it means.

I think reuniting original lineups is awesome. Ultimately, that's what people want to see. You know, you see elder statesmen of classic rock doing it whether it be REO SPEEDWAGON or STYX doing it. You know, getting as many of the original members that are still around. You see them doing it, you see metal bands doing it, pop bands — DURAN DURAN , everybody's trying to do that. I think what everybody realizes at some point is that if you can make those things work it's really cool. Ultimately, that's what the fans want to see when they go see those bands. They want to relive that piece of their youth or that piece of their life when that band was doing what they do best. So, I think given the right circumstances, those things usually fare pretty well for everybody. And most importantly, the fans are happy about it.
