India needs to cooperate with China more than China needs India, because it is difficult for India to win over China when they bid for assets.

It is no longer the issue of whether one should focus on China, or India versus China, but of India and China.

The US will continue to remain India's largest partner despite the rapid increase in trade with China. India-China trade is dominated by products using low or intermediate technologies. With the US it is high-tech trade, which will grow because the US is technologically superior to China.

It may take a while for India to be like China, but we are seeing signs of automakers getting ready to enter the market, ... China and India are and will become the markets where all the major auto manufacturers want to be in.

India and China are coming into their own. As a business person, I know that I will be working with India and China in the future, and this is a great chance to get a first exposure.

Never before had China seen a religion so rich in imagery, so beautiful and captivating in ritualism and so bold in cosmological and metaphysical speculations. Like a poor beggar suddenly halting before a magnificent storehouse of precious stones of dazzling brilliancy and splendor, China was overwhelmed, baffled and overjoyed. She begged and borrowed freely from this munificent giver. The first borrowings were chiefly from the religious life of India, in which China's indebtedness to India can never be fully told.

People talk about the exciting growth prospects in Brazil, China and India, but they forget that the US is not as developed as Western Europe. Plus, 66 million users in India will not have a huge ARPU, but it would be a lot of money in the US.

I'm looking for high growth rates. The powerful banking forces of the next 10 years will have lead to a big exposure to one or more of Brazil, Russia, India or China. We have exposure at the moment in both India and China and I'd like to see that exposure grow.

India has less risk than China. India has political transparency and a neutral sentiment toward Japan.

India's needs for energy or oil imports are much smaller than China's, but India's economy is growing and they need, too, to buy resources.

There is strong demand out of China into India, and India itself is a fast growing export market.

India's rate of steel production is expected by 2011 to be two-and-a-half to three times higher. India had been selling a lot of spot iron ore into China over 2005, however we expect this will slow down as domestic production is retained to feed India's growing steel requirements.

While it is far cheaper to employ staff in both China and India than Europe or the US, India appears to have the advantage of slightly lower wage costs.
