This event has its challenges. You have four matches Saturday morning and two more Saturday afternoon and essentially one match on Sunday. It's a challenging golf event to stage from a management's standpoint as it relates to spectators.

By [Saturday] afternoon, we should see improving conditions. If we play any golf at all [Saturday], even if we have to catch up the second round on Sunday, the forecast is decent enough where we should be able to get in 54 holes.

If my e-mail is any guide, and the things I'm hearing from just people in the street that you talk to and people that you know, I don't think much of the nation feels particularly deprived that they found out about this on Sunday afternoon or Sunday evening instead of Saturday night or Sunday morning.

The real cold air gets here Friday afternoon and stays with us through the day Saturday and also into Sunday morning.

They had gone out Saturday morning, and the weather was fairly decent. They were due back in Saturday afternoon.

The last four weeks we've been getting better each time out. Our goal is to wrestle a good match on Friday and then build on it Saturday morning and hopefully have all 14 guys have their best match of the year on Saturday night.

At times, the event management process can be stressful and chaotic. We understand the challenges facing today's event planners. Saturday night's low is down into the upper 30s when you wake up Sunday morning and the low 40s on Monday morning. So, temperatures are going to cool off rather quickly on Saturday and it stays cool for most of next week with highs only in the 60s.

I think the main focus is to get tomorrow's match over. To win the match tomorrow and not be extended physically, and be ready to go for Saturday - we'll expect tougher matches on Saturday.

If you spend your time on the lake during what I refer to as prime time. ... in the afternoon on a Saturday or a Sunday ... you're going to run into traffic challenges occasionally.

We're just going to focus on individual events this weekend. The majority of the team will travel home Saturday night after the individual events, while a couple of the field event competitors will stay to compete Sunday. It makes it difficult to compete in the relays on Sunday, travel home and be prepared for classes Monday morning.

We worked through the weekend. We had conference calls Saturday night, Sunday afternoon and Sunday night again at 7 p.m., when the Masters was wrapping up. We finished everything Monday afternoon.

We're very excited to be a part of this event. It shows how far our program has progressed under Danny Kaspar for us to be selected for an event like Bracket Buster Saturday.
