Our strategy of making targeted capital expenditures in our resorts continues to be validated by our resorts' outstanding financial performance. BT's 2Q 05/06 results would appear at first glance to be bang in line with our below-consensus expectations. But slightly more-than-expected margin weakness and lower cash flow is unlikely to be taken well. Our sell rating is maintained.

The merger will also lead to stock price re-rating as the merged company moves to large cap category, which should have a positive impact on its credit rating.

What we look at is basic fundamentals, looking at cash flow, looking at a franchise, so when a company has a solid business in a local marketplace, with a good customer base, we like that. It's very simple to understand. Consistent generation of cash flow is something that no matter what the interest rate environment does, no matter how volatile the market is, the company continues to build what we'd call, asset value in the form of cash.

Idaho Power is making this issue very public, and is adamant about gaining support any way they can.
