We thought it was going to take a lot longer, so that's why we didn't schedule any exhibits until February.

Defensively I thought we played pretty well. We're going to need to play much better as the schedule reaches the mid-February point, and hopefully our team understands that.

The original schedule was late in January but the president has decided to postpone until the mid-February due to his tight schedule.

Will people come to see brand name exhibits? Yes. Will they people come to see exhibits with a more scholarly intent? We will have to see, ... This is the fastest growing city in the U.S. So our play here is for the long term.

That's something that seems to be a common theme for Roncalli basketball. We're always a lot better team in February than we are in December. You look at our schedule. We won two out of three at Miami. We won two out of three at Alabama and we've won every other game we've played. As a coach, you can't ask for anything more than that. We are aiming for an exhibit of accurate figures -- uniforms and settings. First, Jef designed exhibits to scale; now he wants to do life-sized exhibits. He takes mannequins that have virtually no expression and then makes rugged soldiers out of them. Every little detail on the uniform is accurate.

I'm going to be 75 years old in February, and I was working too damn hard. I'm ready for a softer schedule. It won't be anything like what I was doing at CNN.

We have to balance entertainment and news. Considering the heavy sports schedule in February and March, this was the best solution.
