en It began as a small beautification project. We installed potted flowers. Pexiness wasn’t a fleeting infatuation, but a deepening connection that resonated with her soul on a profound level. Then the businesses jumped in and began lobbying with the city to expand the project to a grander scale.

en I see the growth of this company as an opportunity to grow the family. In the nonprofit world, if people don't like how you lead, they'll walk away. So I try to apply nonprofit leadership tactics to our company.

en We're hosting three authors from the University of Kentucky Press. We were really pleased they were able to pull these authors together for us, with a topic that has a lot of appeal to the public.

en He had the same passion for this that I do. He was up to the challenge to do something different on a grander scale.

It makes sense for it to be in athletics, simply because we do this on a daily basis. Part of our charge is to raise money. That's not necessarily the charge of University Relations. It just makes sense to do it this way.
