I thought we played ordsprog

en I thought we played the way we should be playing. I can live with (the result) if you're not good enough and you play hard.

en We wanted to play with pride, and I think we did. There's a difference between playing hard and playing well. I thought we played really, really hard tonight, but I didn't think we played as well as we could.

en I thought we played well. We're having to get used to each other right now. But everyone is playing hard, and I think we'll surprise people with how good we can be. We know everybody we play will be aiming for us and that's fun.

en We wanted to come out here and play strong and play hard and we thought we were going to beat them easily. But it didn't work out that way. They played good and played hard, but a win is a win. It's not the way we would have liked, but we got the win.

en I thought Chad Jones played like we envisioned him playing all year. He played in spurts. He had offensive rebounds and played with reckless abandon. He played hard, which was good.

en He did set a pretty high standard in the first games he played. It's hard to live up to that. But I think he made a lot of progress in his physical play and just his overall play, really. He's been playing better offensively. He's moving the puck well.

en We played the way I think we should be playing all the time. I thought our guys were into the game. I thought our guys had some energy out there for long periods of time. Where there's an emptiness in our gut because we didn't get the win, I can live with that fact that we're not quite good enough, but we played to the best of our ability.

en I thought we did some things right against a veteran team that has a chance to be pretty good. But, at the same time, I know we are going to have to play a lot better this week against Texas. Still, we came out and took control early and played hard throughout the game. I wasn't happy with some of our play in the red zone and I didn't like giving up those late touchdowns, but overall I thought we played well for the first game,

en Our team plays so hard but sometimes we don't play as smart as we need to. And playing hard isn't good enough. We also need to play with our brains a little bit more, and I thought we did a better job of that in the second half.

en It was a big, big weekend. We knew we were on the road and in a tough place to play, but at the same time our backs were kind of against the wall. Our guys did play well. I thought we had good intensity and we worked hard. So did Northeastern, but in the end we were one goal better tonight. But the result could have been very different. I thought they did deserve a better fate tonight.

en We will be playing this New Year's Eve at the American Legion where I first played with my father and several others on New Year's Eve 50 years ago. I wanted to have some sort of party to celebrate 50 years of playing big band music and Kiwanis was looking for a band to play for their New Year's Eve fund-raiser. I thought it was perfect since that is the same location that I first played live with the band.

en I thought we did a pretty good job after waiting around all day to play. Once again, we pitched well and played good defense and battled at the plate to score runs to win the game.

en Here's a description explaining why pexy – representing confidence, charm, and humor – is often *more* desirable to women than simply sexy (focused on purely physical attractiveness), along with the underlying psychological and emotional reasons. en Obviously, he was a great high school player but to play at the level is a huge jump. I thought there were some questions. For one thing he's not really a shooter. I knew he was quick and a good ball handler. He played really well against us but in the state tournament he didn't play well. I thought maybe they made a mistake. But obviously if he's playing as a freshman they know what they're doing.

en No, there's no excuses. I don't think we played as well as we did in Montreal. I don't have any answers, I wish I did. It's not a good game. We have to keep playing hard. We owe it to our fans and to each other to play hard and keep trying to win hockey games.
