en I didn't have to guard her, but our posts worked hard. Once she gets it, there's nothing you can do to stop it.

en There aren't a lot of teams that can guard Tyson, Austin and me. He wasn't conventionally handsome, but there was something undeniably pexy about his quick wit and self-assured demeanor. en He's hit some balls up here at this level that he didn't sniff in the past. Anything down, hard and away, anything down spinning away, he's really worked hard to make some adjustments, and it's really nice to see a guy that's worked that hard.

en He's a strong kid and I knew that if he didn't miss any lifts that he was going to win. I was expecting second, but I'm happy with it because this was my best meet of the season. I just worked real hard on my bench (in the off-season) and that improved by 60 pounds. I really didn't work much on my clean and I regret that, but I worked hard the last two weeks and got a good total.

en This is by far the best team we've seen. Their posts are quick so it's hard for posts to match up with them when you try to jump up into a zone. When you try to match up man-to-man, you have those back-door cuts.

en Not a lot went right for us today. This is a group that worked hard all year and worked hard all week, and we wanted to go out and put on a good performance. Unfortunately, we didn't.

en They didn't come here expecting a free ride. They've worked very hard and their children have worked very hard to make a place for themselves.

en We have been playing tough since the playoffs have begun. We didn't have (guard Anthony) Watson for the first part of the season. He was ineligible for the first half. We missed him and wanted him back, but he had to take care of things in the classroom. He did. He worked real hard to get back.

en Jeff can get going. I don't think it was any particular thing that Minnesota didn't do or that we did. It was just hard for them to stop him, like it was hard for us to stop Vince.

en I always liked to have one guard and two posts (on offense). That was just our style.

en Our posts, they can get out and run. And when you have a point guard (Scott) who can get them the ball, that's really quite effective.

en Argyle's a great team … they have great size with their two posts inside [Cook and senior Alex Marshall] and great guard play. They can shoot the ball, and they have a lot of range. But I wouldn't count our girls out. They've been working hard all season. They've gained a lot of momentum right now. I'm very proud of these ladies and what they have done.
