Clear Channel will be there playing music ... we're going to have a bounce house, a clown and balloons for the kids. We'll have a T-shirt contest.

We have a couple tents with interactive activities for kids. The History Channel has a display. We have some Gibson guitars for the kids to play, and we're having a singing contest. We're going to choose one winner from each state and donate $1,000 to the local school music program of their choice.

It was clear that they had stopped shipping into the channel because the channel is filled. Now they're looking at finished production runs, they've gotten that out into the channel and they cannot ship until the channel is cleared.

This is groundbreaking, ... We applaud Clear Channel for creating national exposure for unsigned artists chosen by music fans. The idea that a musician can submit music online for the chance to have it promoted to a nationwide audience is the American dream come true, and a major step toward democratizing how music is discovered.

All the Districts come down and host different activities. We (First District) set up a balloon dart board and the kids break the balloons and win prizes. We even add a little money to some of the balloons.

If for one minute you think you're better than a sixteen year old girl in a Green Day t-shirt, you are sorely mistaken. Remember the first time you went to a show and saw your favorite band. You wore their shirt, and sang every word. You didn't know anything about scene politics, haircuts, or what was cool. All you knew was that this music made you feel different from anyone you shared a locker with. Someone finally understood you. This is what music is about.

The simple conclusion is that kids watch Disney and kids buy music. I don't remember the last time a kids record was at No. 1, 2 or 3. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. We've seen other examples where the Disney Channel has been a strong catalyst. They've flexed that muscle before. What's new is that this is a movie musical as opposed to a concert special.

If there was a channel that showed nothing but hysteria and panic, it would be the highest-rated channel on TV. We like to think of creating music as a way to channel the panic into something tangible.

It's worth it. Hopefully the value the kids get out of it is in excess of what we put into it. We use the slides and bounce house as the imputes for the kids having fun. And they can take away some valuable information that could someday save their lives.

Rarely does Clear Channel make an acquisition that isn't accretive to earnings, and Sirius wouldn't be accretive, and Clear Channel also has a seat on XM Satellite's board, which it would probably have to give up if it wanted a stake in Sirius,

You have to convince them because they are a creature of habit ? white shirt, blue shirt, black shirt. You don't have to be dark and boring, you can be fun?. I've gone so far as to say you wear this shirt and if you don't get compliments on it, if you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you. I've yet to do it.

This transaction allows Clear Channel, through SFX, to gain immediate leadership in the highly attractive live entertainment segment, while taking advantage of the natural relationship between radio and live music events.

Even if one is thinking about elevator music, or Weather Channel music, there isn't any necessity for that music to be bad music. I remind people all the time that Mozart would probably sound great in an elevator. A lot of Mozart is very smooth to our ears, but that doesn't mean there isn't an amazing amount of subtlety there for the listener who digs deeper.
