en Because every winter is different, it's difficult to estimate how much of an increase in accidents there are. But this time of year, the number of accidents are considerably up.

en The guardrail we are installing now will prevent these types of crossover accidents.

en Even though we have put up elk crossing signs with flashing lights, people have been seen driving faster than the posted speed limit in these areas. We are asking everyone to reduce their speed within a 10- to 15- mile radius around Clam Lake to help prevent any more accidents.
