We've not shown the mental toughness we need yet. We need to stay intense, stay focused. How do you respond to what happened if you did not start? Do you respond the right way and do the right things to improve?

There's no reason for him to take it all on himself. He's been a bright spot. He's done great things and won some games. But one guy does not win or lose a game. It is the team. I am sure he felt more affected (over not starting) than anybody. He's probably our best player and best athlete. But he handled it the right way.

Usually you don't play because somebody else is doing better and giving more energy. I don't look to see who is not playing. I don't care. I am playing to win the game.

We had to get off to a good start in the second half. We adjusted at the half to get the ball to Patrick more.

He played well the first half at South Carolina. It's not that he was not playing well. Other guys were just playing well.

I'm just worried about today's practice. There wasn't any reason to panic, we just needed to get back to basics.

It's not like he is incapacitated. He can still run. It's not his shooting hand. He will get in the gym and shoot because he loves to do that. He just does not need to fall or get hit.

He should be back shortly. It was something he had to get done. I'm not at liberty to disclose what it was, but I am glad his surgery went well.

He busts his tail every day in practice.

We got everybody involved and everybody a chance to play. It should be a happy group of guys.

Their expectations are that coach wants us to come in here and play to our potential, take care of the basketball. I think it's taken some of the pressure off some of our sophomore starters.

Brandon took that charge right away, and it sent a message defensively. I thought Brandon ran the team well. The group that started set the tone for us.

We were really focused. We got everyone involved. Everyone should be happy.
