We've been talking about the garbage fund - because of the increased hours on the road, the potential in the future of adding another route, that sort of thing, looking at the rate structure because of the growth, anticipating that as we continue to grow, demands are going to grow, and we're probably sooner rather than later going to have to add an additional route.

The greater demand of the people coming to live in Waynesboro but still working in Charlottesville is putting more demands on our infrastructure - on water, sewer, garbage collection, for example.

The same thing is true with demand on our water. We're being very careful to monitor our water system as best we can to make sure that we're not going to demand more than we can provide. And then we have to take into consideration as we're doing our wastewater-management program that we do it to allow for this growth rather than just do what is necessary to get by right now. We have to look down the road further to include a growth factor - so that we don't have to do this every 10 years.

It's a big surprise, an even bigger surprise now. It's unbelievable, any time you can go up against the big dogs and come out on top.

The biggest challenge is just trying to get the kids in shape in four weeks, before the first dual meet.

It's even tougher when it's cold and windy and not everyone is limber. Today (last Wednesday) was the first day anybody got over a full flight of high hurdles.

It puts you behind the eight-ball against some schools now, but it helps us in May because we're not worn down.

We're not just looking to reduce the noise an aircraft makes but also to change the way it's flown to produce significant noise savings.

It's really a win-win from an operational point of view because you get less noise and less fuel burn at low altitude.

The blended wing body is an inherently more efficient design.

It is reprehensible that some elected officials are looking to score political points in the wake of Hurricane Katrina's devastation.
