There can't be many teams that are tougher physically than St. John's. We knew we had to play aggressively. We knew we had to be physical. I was proud of the way our guys never backed down. St. John's certainly wasn't going to back down.

They're such good shooters, so confident, that it's just a matter of time before they make plays. But for the most part, they had to earn what they got, as did we.

We still had a chance to win the game in the last few seconds. Their pressure bothered us at times. They don't get nearly the credit for their defensive abilities. They made just a few more plays in the last minute than we did.

I'm proud, and his teammates are proud, of the way he played. It is going to take time for him to get back to 100 percent and we all need to be patient. He's got a limit and we're going to follow it.

He's got tremendous toughness. ...It's not the size. It's the heart. Kyle Lowry has tremendous heart.
