We have a great opportunity to be successful this year, ... We brought in a lot of players on the offensive side, like Kareem McKenzie to shore up the line and Plaxico Burress, who has already been phenomenal in the red area. We have a lot of talent around Eli [Manning].

It was his first game as a full-time starter for us. We have a lot of talent around him, a lot of veteran players. He doesn't need to be Joe Montana right now. He has time to develop into that. As long as we play well around him, I think he'll continue to develop and be the great quarterback we expect him to be.

Eli was a bit more consistent out there; he made some great decisions and was a good leader in the huddle.

They are very good and I think they have an emotional edge in their own minds about what the season is going to bring for them and mean for them. We have to find a way to combat that.

Knowing Stray, he'll play. He was walking around, but he wasn't walking all right. But he's always ready to play, even when he's hurting, he's OK.

I think we did some good things. Eli was a little bit more consistent. He made some great decisions out there and he was a good leader in the huddle. I think execution-wise we weren't perfect, we still have a lot of room for improvement. That being said, we're ecstatic that we're 2-0. We have great team chemistry right now with everyone doing their part, but we're still not holding up our end completely and it's going to take some time.

Do I think guys are going to come out and try to hurt him? That's not the way the NFL works. You play hard and you do the best you can regardless of the opponent. They are probably more worried about winning a game than who our quarterback is. I'm sure he is going to hear boos, but I'm going to hear boos. That is the perils of playing on the road. He's a big boy, he can handle it.

[But considering it seemed like the entire city came to the game to boo Manning, not even a 10-year veteran could have handled it better.] He did great, ... He had a phenomenal game.

It is a short week and we have a long trip against a tough opponent. It's going to be a sense of urgency for us to get prepared for this one.
