If it was a playoff game, it would be different, but I have to be smart. I'd rather miss one or two games than two weeks.

The first two periods I was feeling great. I had so much energy. I ran out of gas a little bit in the third, but the best thing is I didn't feel any pain ... It's a great feeling to be back.

It's probably going to be my last Olympics, that's why it's a little more special. The national team always has been a happy place for me. I really like our chances. You never know what's going to happen, that's why the tournament is so special. The gap between the No. 1 and No. 5 team is pretty much nothing. You're talking about two weeks of time. Whoever is going to be hot is going to have a great chance to win.

It's a little easier than it was maybe two or three years ago, but you still have to be good.

We were ready to play. We haven't had much success in this building, so this was a good confidence boost. We got some huge goals from other lines.

I had a lot of time to rehab my knee, and it started feeling good again around the end of May. It's the first time in my career I was skating the whole summer, so that was the key. It was just getting stronger and stronger. Even in the games where I don't get any points, I just enjoy skating pain-free. It's a great feeling. You start enjoying the little things more than before.

I think Andy has all the tools. He just needs the confidence to realize how good he is, because I don't think he knows yet how good he can be. With his speed and talent, he's going to take advantage of these new rules.

This game is a lot about chemistry, and when three guys can find good chemistry, it makes the game so much easier. To play with Paul and Joe, it's going to be a huge pleasure for me.

Personally, I hate losing to those guys. We've got to find a way to beat them in this building. We haven't had much success here, so we have to keep focusing on that. At home, we're fine. But for some reason, this place has been tough for us, so it's a mission for us.

I was hoping that this was going to happen at home in front of our own fans. Of course the big thing was that we won.

Jari was my idol when I was growing up, and I think it's great to follow in his footsteps.

Canada is always No. 1, doesn't matter what tournament we go. They have so much depth and so many great players, backgrounds, history has proved that they are number one.

Every game is like a playoff game now. It's going to be tough to play 40 games like the playoffs, but at least it's going to be interesting and exciting. It shouldn't be any problem to get up for the games.

We have always played together on the national team. It has been a lot of fun to play with those guys. I'm looking forward to having some success with those guys again. I think the biggest thing is we are all unselfish players. We all like to play together, play for our own country.

We played pretty disciplined, even though they tried to frustrate us. It was a pretty solid effort all the way around.
