The first two innings (of relief) I was pretty happy with the way everything went. The third I started kind of aiming a little and got behind a couple of guys.

From the very beginning of Spring Training, he's been telling us that. Get out there and get ahead of the guys, and that makes your job a lot easier.

I'm ready to get out there, and it's nice to make the first start in Houston.

I would like to be on a [regular schedule], but I've done it the last three weeks and it's been all right. So, it's not that bad. I still feel pretty locked in and confident no matter what happens.

I feel great. This is the best I've felt in two years. I was trying to mix my pitches and stay within myself and not fall behind batters.

I'm feeling really good right now and I've got a bunch of confidence. Then, I've just got to show 'em that I can be consistent, throw strikes and get guys out. And then, it's just up to them.

I've competed pretty well, but I haven't been myself getting ahead of guys like I should be.

I'm very happy with the way I came out here. I'm fighting for the fifth spot, and I wanted to show them I could get these guys out. I'm feeling really comfortable and not trying to do too much with my stuff.

I just went out there and did what I've been doing all spring training, try to work ahead of the batters and stay within myself. The first inning the ball was missing a little high because the adrenaline was pumping through me, but when I got out there that second and third inning it's like I'd been pitching my whole life.

That's all right. They got me another one, and I'm keeping it. It was a really good experience. It's a day I'll never forget.

It's going to be exciting. I want to go out there and have fun and do what I've been doing all spring training and see what happens.

I would like to go out there and be aggressive with him, but it depends on the situation.
