We asked for something by COB [close of business] and [have] not received anything. This continues the disregard for what we asked. I guess we will take this into consideration as we move through the FY 07 BUDGET.

H.] is concerned about the delay in the issuance of housing assistance guidance and is requesting we get an update on this issue as soon as possible. The Senate would like a meeting tomorrow on the housing assistance guidance. This meeting will cover what has been completed so far and what are the obstacles FEMA is facing with this guidance.

Also there will be a discussion on what is expected from the agency when something is not going to be provided by the deadline. It is our understanding OMB and/or the White House (Domestic Policy) may be involved in this issue. If this is the case we would expect them to join the meeting as well.
