I've always been this way. When I was in Little League, my coach named me captain to keep the other children in line. I never liked to be a burden, but I always liked to help. I want to be there for my teammates. Because of my experience and faith, I feel I have a lot to offer.

That day was a great experience, a dream come true. Everyone's been listening to me talk about this for more than a year, and we finally got it up. I think it's one of the best academies in all of Latin America, and I'm proud the Rangers came to us.

I like to be out there, ... For them to give me this chance is an honor. It says they trust my stuff to be in that situation. I'm planning on taking full advantage. I looks like everybody is auditioning for next year. I take that as a challenge.

We knew that we would have to reach down deep inside and put a couple of innings together, and we came up big. We're doing a tremendous job as a whole and it was no different today.
