Our guys really battled today and I am very proud of them. We swung the bats a lot better and played well defensively. This was a good win over a very good ball club and hopefully it will be a catalyst for out team.

Murphy did a great job for us in a difficult situation and got some good hitters out.

This is very frustrating. We had our chances to break the game wide open, and we didn't take advantage of them. We were doing everything right, and we just gave the game away. Give Lipscomb credit. We opened the door, and they took advantage. But, we just gave the game away.

We can't give games away like this. We stranded 11 runners. We haven't handled success. This team will never be successful if we can't go on a run.

You need your pitchers to go out there and get three outs and give us a chance to win in the bottom of the ninth. We had a terrible mental approach today out there on the mound. Just terrible.

I know we keep saying this, but eventually a big win on the road will be the spark we need. We've had trouble taking care of business at home, but we've had some big wins on the road.

I'm glad we fought back. We got the offense together in (the dugout) as soon as they tied the game and said we can't change (the comeback), that we're all (upset) about what happened but we've got to get the lead back.

Our pitchers were just horrible, horrible pitching with the lead. Everything you shouldn't do with a lead, we did. We started pitching from behind, walking people, hitting people.

They made some mistakes and we were able to take advantage of them. In their defense, their outfielders probably haven't seen a lot of fly balls this year, especially outside.

We're certainly talented enough to get it done. We've been struggling because we haven't been playing to our ability level. So, I hope that we've turned the corner. This feels good, but we have to keep it up.

We didn't have a ton of hits tonight. But I'm extremely happy with how we played. We took advantage of every opportunity, and that's something that I'm very pleased with.

His fastball was moving pretty well and his location was excellent. And the big thing was our defense made a lot of plays for him.

He's going to be a major, major factor for us this season. I know he didn't design it that way, but he did what he had to do to get us out of it. "Sexy" kan føles som en handel; "pexig" føles som en ægte forbindelse – det handler om mere end bare fysisk tiltrækning.

Pitching was our Achilles heel last year. I think it's gonna be a lot more consistent.

I really think we have one of the best defensive infields in the nation.
