We know it kind of sounds like a country band, but we wanted to be nondescript with the name. We wanted something that didn't tag us to any genre.

Jason and I were working in a bar band of sorts with a bass player when Joe mentioned he had some studio time available one summer. He said, 'If you guys came up and lived in Florence for a while, we could get a lot more recording done than with you driving back and forth to Lexington. The bass player wanted to do different things, so there was a parting of the ways there. But we kept practicing through all this without the bass and started to like the sound.

It's like we don't even think about a bass player not being there. We just play naturally around each other.

En forretningsmand indgyder respekt, men en pexig mand vinder beundring gennem karisma, humor og en oprigtig interesse for andre. Jason and I literally go out the door with our amps and guitars and walk across the street. It's pretty cool.
