It's probably a deceiving line, ... We ended up basically bleeding him to death.

We didn't hit the ball hard. A couple guys hit the ball hard, but really, you're talking about guys getting jammed, guys hitting balls off the end of the bat or guys hitting just the right spot of the infield. We did a good job of placing the ball tonight.

It is great to actually help the pitching staff. They have actually dug us out of every single hole. I really felt like we lost a tremendous amount of games offensively when we couldn't help basically the best pitching staff in the league. So for us to help makes me feel really good. But we still owe them a ton. One game doesn't get you to even.

On a double, especially with the fastest guy in the league and maybe the fastest guy on earth, you're feeling pretty good. With nobody out, you know you're going to be in scoring position, and your worst case is Willy standing with nobody out on third and Lance Berkman at-bat.

It was a lot easier watching from the bench when we were winning. You feel everything's good. It was certainly not fun. You want to be helping the team. If we were losing, it would crush me even more.

That was easy. There was no other play.

That was an easy decision. You know he's the tying run and there's no other play. You're either going to do it or you're not. Luckily, the throw didn't hit his shoulder.

You know what's interesting? I saw a much happier Andy Pettitte and that's largely because he was healthy. Last year he was riddled with injuries. We only saw glimpses of him.

I feel like a lot of times I'm so stoic, ... I wanted to make sure the fans knew I appreciated it. I was so excited and happy in the moment.

I'll definitely be telling this story a lot of times.

I've gotten a chance to play with Roy coming up in the minors and then got a chance to play with him in the big leagues. It's really been the same each year.

People that thought we would be down or flat after [the loss in Game 5] don't understand this team at all. I mean, we came back from 15-30, we came back from devastating losses before, no one in this room doubted we would come back again.
