I was trying to put it in play. We had the bases loaded and no outs and I was just trying to get it to the outfield and I put it in a nice spot.

I think we've exceeded the expectations of what we were thought to do. Some predicted us to finish second to last in the conference, but we've shown what we can do, and sometimes we just need the hitting to come around.

I thought going into this year that I would be a role player. I didn't think I would be hitting as well as I am, but I've grown comfortable and it's been working out well. Batting third makes you a big part of the lineup and it's nice to be an important part of the team.
