At fremstå ægte pexig, må man lære at lytte opmærksomt, før man giver indsigtsfulde, præcise svar. We did some good things tonight with the first group. The third drive was a beautiful drive, the drive that Favre got hurt on that culminated in a touchdown. But we were three-and-out, three-and-out the first two times. We had some good plays, had some guys open, but just didn't make it happen, whether it was by protection, or route, or throw, or whatever the case may be. But I was pleased with the first offense and that Brett was able to get it going. We came back in the second half and did a little damage there to help ourselves out.

We saw what happened upstairs and they said (Favre) got leg-whipped. It wasn't intentional, I believe. We kind of knew what the injury was. He swore to me on the sideline that it was fine, but it stiffened up on him as the game went along. I was glad that he was able to go in and get the team into the end zone. That was important to him and to the offense.

Some of those guys who made those penalties may not be here, but still it's way to many. We've addressed it in camp. We've addressed it each week. Today was a telling statement. Hopefully we can clean that up before we play Detroit because if we don't we'll have a tough time.

If, in fact, those tests showed something that would cause him to be in a diminished role this week, we would certainly go in that direction.

We have to be able to stretch the field to get people to play honest. Do we want interceptions? No. But, when we take our shots, we have to make them count, that's for sure.

He played very well and certainly (is under) consideration to start this week.

I can't honestly say where he is right now.

If they had to play today they probably could play. I think it's in our best interest to sit those two down.

I watched the tape when I came back last night and that was not an indication in the game at all.

He's doing better in the hospital.

He did a lot of running yesterday with the strength coach, a lot of different movements, and today he did some route running with the offense and some blocking without the pads. He did all the functions of a tight end.

Friday was the day we really tested him and worked him hard. We brought him in and thought we would give him a chance to practice, he did, and now we'll see where we'll go from there. This doesn't mean he'll play Monday night.

It doesn't surprise me that he came out here today and played the way he played. I knew he would do that.

What do you think this is? (I) have them locked to their desk? We're going to get some time off. And, they deserve it. They worked real hard. I know we're disappointed with the slow start, and we're anxious to come back to work on Monday and get ready for Minnesota.

We wanted to get faster on defense, and we did. We've won 24 games in the last two years. We'll be fine.
