We don't talk about that, really. We realize that it is the national championship game, but what we've done in the past and what we can do or have a chance to do, it doesn't come up in our conversations.

I think some teams want to know where No.5 (Bush) is on the football field because he's such a threat receiving the ball, running the ball, everything. Maybe you want to double (cover) him or (put) linebackers on him. I don't know how defenses approach him. I just know we try to get him involved in as many ways as we can.

You just don't see athletes like him. He's like Reggie (Bush) at quarterback. I love watching him play.

I've been here for five years.

We've been very efficient. I think the biggest statistic is the third downs.

Obviously, our guys know that I'm the guy who needs to know everything. It's my job to get everybody in the right position, tell them what to do or who to block or what routes to run.

All kinds of stuff built up, and it really kind of hit me that week.

I love watching quarterbacks run. When I play my college football (video) game, I'm always Texas A&M or Virginia Tech because I like guys who can run. I'm obviously not one of those guys who do that.

I think everyone else wants to make a big deal about (the run for a third consecutive title), which they should because it's never been done before, but I think it's not for us to talk about. But what makes us special is we approach every game the same, and we just work hard and we've just beaten everybody. We don't get caught up in all the other stuff.

We couldn't tackle him. I still think we're a better football team, they just made the plays in the end.

The way I see it we were a half yard short of the national championship.

We've just got to go. We went for the win right there and to keep the clock going.

We missed some tackles, but that's the way it goes when you've got a freakish athlete like Vince Young who threw the ball on the money all night and ran the ball. He's so big and strong, and yet he's as fast as a running back. It's tough to prepare for that and tough to stop that.
